what i thought adulting would be vs reality

Another pretty old post I never publishded but thought was pretty funny. From years ago. back in college i wrote this paper about what id do when i was all grown up or something like that. im pretty sure i ranted about how id go running at night and climb whatever i want and do lots of sporadic activities like drive to the beach on a whim.

reality:
i dont like running at night because everything is dark and i cant see colors lol. also im starting to get sleepy by dark time often.


i also always imagined doing some job that i didnt care a ton about but that paid the bills and spending the rest of my free time skating.

reality:
spending 45 hrs a wk is a big chunk of spending time and i tend to care a lot more how i spend that work time.
